well I have a few new pinup shots up. They're all Military Pinups, sort of a July 4th project. I'm happy with the way the shots turned out, and I'm hoping that every one else likes them as well! Hope that every one had a WONDERFUL 4th of July!!

Ok so tomorrow morning I'm going to my first Catholic Mass. Some friends of mine and Tim's go to the church that's on post, and tomorrow two of their kids are betting baptized, and she asked if I'd do some photographs for her. I'm looking at this as more than just a photo shoot, after all, I'm going to Have to work around a congragation, two kids and a priest. I'm also looking at this as a learning experiance, I've never been to a mass before then only mass I've been able to see that was real was on the religious chanel on tv. SOOO I'm hoping to learn more then just about my photography tomorrow. One thing I'm greatful for is the fact that Catholics unlike Baptists (I was raised Southern Baptist *Good Ol' South Carolina) start their services at 11..... not 9 makes me feel great, so not only do I not have to get up early but I'm going to get some wonderful shots as well. I'm excited I have so many ideas running through my head right now! I know I won't have much of a problem with the two boys unless they get freaked out by the priest dumping water on their heads, they're camera hams! well Wish me Luck! I'll hopefully have those shots up for you guys around monday or tuesday!

Just so you guys know the shoot went really well, and I ended p shooting 3 kids insted of two which was really nice, I actally got paied for my work! not much but still it makes me feel good to know that even though I wasn't expecting to get paied, I did. The pictures will be up as soon as I get something done with them, trim them up a little and make them look nice. And on top of that I now have people wanting me to body pierce for them as well, so that's really exciting! After the Baptism I ended up shooting a few pictures of another little girl, Which I'll also be using here on deviant. I'm like where my work is taking me right now, its a bit unexpected, I didn't expect to be a hired photographer for a good LONG while. The other lady whose daughter was Baptized even asked me if I went to school for it! I feel great right now!

sorry I haven't been on in a while but I have tons and tons of pictures for you guys when we get the net fixed at our house!!!!

Second off, some time later this month I'll have my new camera, which my husband was supper nice in getting for me. Its a Canon EOS Rebel XTi, I'm looking foward to having alot of new photos for you guys.

If you'll look through my gallery you'll find that I added "Gnome" and "A Bottle Well Used" as prints, if you're interested in that. I'm hoping to have more photos that I think are worthy of submitting as prints here soon.

For those of you reading this that actually bother to read the Hot Topics that get sent to you, I was reading today about the new senior mentor program, and I think that it is a lovely Idea, and I for one am willing to get into that program, its a great chance, for every one on DA to get to know other artists of their trade better, and also to get some great advice. I'm hopping to learn alot for this program, and I'm also hopping that alot of people will look into it and take advantage of it.
